Sacrificial Judgement

She who was deceived but once
must make a fatal decision.
To stitch the heart, to follow it's lead,
to follow the irresistible draw of vulnerability.
Or bind the heart, listen to the mind,
the unfeeling logic cutting all, chanceless.

The second in the 'Inhuman Humanity' series. Perhaps this conflict is more common than I know. Perhaps people understand and overcome, some do and and hit, some do and and, and some don't and live long with the lemon taste lingering. I know I should let you take of it what you want/need, but I feel a little strongly.

I wonder if I'm too cynical for my age.

In my opinion Sacrificial Judgement isn't nearly well so placed as Existential Repair, but I didn't want to repeat the tentacle motif, and I wanted to concentrate on the arms, bindings and slave bracelets. I think it's a bit too dark, I went overboard with the ink and colours. But I think it adds, perhaps, to the stormy conflict that's happening.

My apologies for the horrible scan line. I've done this series on A3 and have only an A4 scanner, and therefore had to scan it in two halves and join them.
